PSAs Available for Germ-Prevention Awareness Campaign
TV, Radio, Internet & Print PSAs Available for Re-Distribution as Part of Germ-Awareness Campaign
Toronto - Monday, October 30, 2006 - Clean Freak Patrol Ltd. is running a Public Service Announcement (PSA) campaign promoting the importance of hand washing as a preventative measure to common illnesses.
The PSAs remind kids 6 and older to wash their hands in a fun and entertaining way.
“It’s a perfect time for an awareness campaign as a preemptive strike against the forthcoming cold and flu season. As children go back to school and the climate changes, they are more susceptible to get sick.”, says Michael Morris, president of Clean Freak Patrol Ltd.
“Everyday school children all over the world are warned by their parents not to talk to strangers and to look both ways when they cross the street. But what about the unseen dangers they face? The deadly germs and bacteria that lurk in the air and contaminate all surfaces. Who will help us educate our children
to clean their hands regularly? The Clean Freak Patrol!“
The PSAs introduce Combat, Missy, Karate and Princess Fairy, these four lovable cartoon characters help teach children the importance of good hand hygiene and invite kids to "Spread the Word - Not the Germs!".
The PSAs feature clips from a the Clean Freak Patrol animated music video and song titled “Everybody Tell Somebody“ produced by Dean Jarvis (Nelly Furtado’s bassist and musical director). The PSAs invite kids to visit www.cleanfreakpatrol.com and sign up to get a free mp3 gift with the song.
Downloaders
are encouraged to "spread the word" on to their friends and family members.
The PSAs are available now for re-distribution through television, radio, internet and print media. Broadcasters and publishers are invited to pick up copies of the PSAs for use on their networks and publications.
